For small volumes, the Guzzler sets up in seconds
and finishes the job in less time than it would take to set up a power pump.

Item 2 - male garden hose thread on
inlet and outlet flanges (also known as Model 400HG) (shown to the right).
Male garden hose thread allows for the easy connection of the hook up
hose (see model 400HGK below) and a garden hose, BUT for transferring a
large volume of water you must use at least a 1" inside diameter hose,
garden hose is much too small which results in hard pumping with very low
volume. |

TURN YOUR GUZZLER
400HG IN TO AN EMERGENCY BACK UP MANUAL SUMP PUMP!
This handy
adapter allows you to connect 1 1/4" flexible sump pump hose to the
Guzzler.
The gray end of
the adapter fits the hose, and the white end simply screws right onto
the male garden hose threads of the pump.
This hose is
available at most hardware stores as a '1 1/4" sump pump hose kit',
it includes 24 feet of hose, a clamp and an insert adapter (which is
not needed for the Guzzler)
If you can not
find it locally, please contact us for shipping costs - the hose is
$8.50 including a clamp.
This hose is
also useful in any application where a flexible and economical hose is
required - eg: de watering pits, trenches, ponds, pool covers and rain
barrels etc, etc.
It rolls up like
a vacuum cleaner hose which makes it very portable.
This adapter
makes the Guzzler 400HG even more versatile!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
400 Series pumps are available with Diaphragm and valves made of Neoprene, EPDM or Viton for chemical
compatibility. Neoprene is also recommended for prolonged sun exposure.
They are also available by special order with foot levers, recessed mounts, F.D.A.
approved materials, aluminum bodies, motor drives and various threaded
flanges. Details provided on request. |
