FEATURES:

  • Easily installed on the discharge or suction side of pump -
    see installation section below
  • Uses centrifugal force to spin out sediment
  • Sediment collects on the outside of screen, making it easy to clean
  • Clear polycarbonate housing permits instant visual inspection
  • Includes purge valve for quick one step flushing of sediment
  • Polyester screen is easily cleaned with a soft brush if needed
  • Prolongs the life of water purification filters and equipment
  • Filter body is molded PVC with slip fit ports (solvent weld
    to standard 1 1/2” rigid PVC pipe or fittings)
  • Includes 2 bushings for 1 1/4”, 1” or 3/4” female pipe thread -
    see installation section below
  • UV stabilized, weather resistant materials used for long service life
  • Filter cover only requires hand tightening - no tools needed

SPECIFICATIONS:

  • Flow rates from 10 -50 G.P.M.
  • Maximum operating pressure 150 P.S.I. at 73 degrees F (23 degrees C)
  • Maximum water temperature 100 degrees F (38 degrees C) at 40
    P.S.I.
  • Includes 100 mesh screen with other sizes available

INSTALLATION:

  • The VU-FLOW filter should be installed between the pump and
    pressure tank so that system pressure will back wash the screen
    when the purge valve is opened.
  • It can be installed between a jet pump and the foot valve -
    BUT: THE FILTER MUST KEPT CLEAN SO THAT WATER FLOW TO THE PUMP IS NEVER BLOCKED, THIS CAN BURN OUT THE PUMP!
  • The inlet and outlet ports are 1 1/2” slip fit (PVC solvent weld) to
    accept standard rigid PVC pipe.
  • Bushings with 1 1/4”, 1” or 3/4” female pipe thread are glued into the ports (see order form below)
    IF YOU DO NOT WISH TO HAVE THEM GLUED IN, PLEASE CONTACT US WHEN PLACING THE ORDER.
