• male garden hose thread allows for the easy connection of the hook up hose and a garden hose, BUT for transferring a large volume of water you must use at least a 1" inside diameter hose, garden hose is much too small which results in hard pumping with very low volume.
• includes a 2 foot priming hose: 3/4" I.D. flexible braided PVC with a female garden hose fitting crimped on each end. NOTE - 1 foot hose shown in photo.
• to also use this pump as back up manual sump pump, order 2 sump pump hose adapters. Most hardware stores carry a 1 1/4" sump pump hose kit (24 feet of hose) which will connect to this pump using these adapters. This hose can be easily cut in order to attach one piece to the inlet and one piece to the outlet on the Guzzler. The pump can be permanently mounted to a horizontal or vertical surface, or attached to a small piece of wood for portability (4 screw holes provided).
